Common Questions

Straight Answers

What can the fabrication shop produce?

Our full service fab shop produces pipe fabrication, skid mounted equipment, modular piping, and rack assemblies, plus plate and structural work with shearing, burning, punching, and plasma cutting. Steel pipe supports run from pipe anchors and guides to large frame supports and trapeze assemblies.

Which metals can Florida Mechanical weld?

Our certified welders work in carbon steel across a range of wall thicknesses, stainless steel, Hastelloy, Zeron 100, Chromalloy P11 and P22, Inconel, aluminum, abrasion resistant alloy steel, and other duplex stainless piping. Welding processes include SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW, with orbital GTAW procedures available.

Why does in house fabrication matter for my project?

Fabricating in our own shop means piping arrives on site ready to set, with welds already inspected under controlled conditions. That compresses field schedules, reduces site labor exposure, and gives time sensitive projects a shop that can run multiple jobs at once on 1.5 acres of laydown and storage.
